looking good!!! I usually aonly do traditional art like drawing and painting but would like to try digital art. I have a few questions if you don't mind asnwering: Do you start off lineart with pencil and then go over it with pen? or do you scan it and go over it with a pen-like tool on the computer? what program(s) do you use? I've seen people use these tablet-like things that they use a stylus on to color/draw something on the computer, do you know what this called? do you use one or color/paint with your mouse? THANKS!!!
Uhm... I do a mix of things for my art. :3 Sometimes, I'll do the lineart and ink it traditionally, like this: [link] (colored traditionally) or this: [link] (scanned & colored digitally) Other times, I'll do the picture all on the computer, no traditional tools at all: [link][link][link] Sometimes, I'll just sketch the picture with pencil, and scan it without inking it. Then I color it digitally: [link][link][link] I use Paint Tool Sai, which isn't freeware, but some people torrent it for free. I bought my own copy of Sai from the website: [link] (for torrent stuff.... I'm not one to ask since I don't know ;v; ) And I use a drawing tablet (with the stylus)--it's easier and is more like drawing on paper than using a mouse. Cheaper models are Bamboo Tablets (I use a Bamboo Pen), and they are smaller than other models. I've been using a tablet for about 4-5 years.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
